Summer highlight on the Elsigenalp - Alpine beach on Lake Brandsee
The Alpine beach is a sandy beach corner with sun loungers and parasols, perfect for tired legs after a strenuous hike in the Elsigen-Metsch area or for the children to play. Next to the sandy beach there is a serviced bistro when the weather is nice. SUP rental (free with Bernese Oberland Pass) is also available on site for paddling around the beautiful Brandsee lake. Wild water rats can let off steam on the huge water slide.
There are several sunbathing and barbecue areas around the lake and, of course, toilets. The Berghaus Elsigenalp is approx. 3 minutes' walk away and the Elsigenalp mountain station approx. 6 minutes' walk.
