Panorama Circular Trail Reichenbach Falls

Experience breathtaking insights and views on the picturesque one-hour circular hike at the Reichenbach Falls.

Travel by train to Meiringen Alpbach. Afterwards you can walk in 10 minutes to the valley station of the Reichenbachfallbahn. Here you will have your first opportunity to eat in the bistro. The historic funicular takes you up to the top station, which is right opposite the crash site of Sherlock Holmes. Now you ascend along the impressive 120m high waterfall with its viewing platforms up to the Zwirgi, where the next opportunity for refreshments awaits you.

You have now also reached the highest point of the Panaroma Circuit. You cross the Reichenbach and follow the hiking trail towards Falchern. The path leads through a beautiful mixed forest and over meadows to the lookout point "Uberlüögen". There you can, as the name in "Haslideutsch" says, look over the valley and over to the Hasliberg ("lüögen").
