Spiez Castle – experience 1,300 years of history
Spiez Castle and the Castle Church are elegantly located on a peninsula on Lake Thun. 1,300 years of history can be experienced in the Castle Museum. The early baroque ceremonial hall, High Middle Age knights' graffiti and two castle kitchens are the highlights. Children can enjoy trying their hand at different things, 3D viewers and such features as a knights' trail. The tower provides an incomparable 360° panoramic view.
A varied supporting programme accompanies the castle season: public guided tours, presentations, artists' studios and events for children and families... You will also find a shop and café in the museum.
Another jewel of art history is the Romance Castle Church with its frescoes. A park, rose and baroque herb gardens around the Castle invite you to linger even longer.
