The most modern museum in the Alps
The World Nature Forum in Naters, or WNF for short, is the visitor center of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch and at the same time the most modern museum in the Alps. In the varied exhibition, explorers of all ages can experience the World Heritage Site with all their senses and immerse themselves in the diverse Alpine world. Exciting films, interactive experience stations, information graphics and state-of-the-art technology awaken the spirit of exploration in young and old alike.
The exhibition deals with all the processes involved in the formation and change of the Alps. At the WNF, visitors can gain an overview of the area, learn about and understand its exciting history and the unique natural and cultural landscape surrounding this high alpine scenery. During the museum tour, valuable excursion tips and hiking suggestions can be packed into the digital rucksack so that the unique region can also be experienced in nature. A highlight of the exhibition is the panorama cinema, where fascinating film scenes from the UNESCO World Heritage Site are shown on a 100 square meter screen.
