There are some changes to the area of validity of the Berner Oberland Pass for 2025. So that you can continue to make the most of your stay, we have compiled all the changes transparently for you.

Schilthornbahn

From 2025 you can enjoy free travel with the Berner Oberland Pass on the Schilthorn cable car.

Note: The Birg - Schilthorn route (3rd section) is still closed until 14.03.2025.

Montreux-Oberland-Bahn (MOB)

From 2025, you will enjoy free travel with the Bernese Oberland Pass on the entire route from Montreux to Zweisimmen. The BOP is therefore valid on the entire route of the GoldenPass Express between Montreux and Interlaken. Seat reservations are strongly recommended.

Interlaken – Harder Kulm
Grindelwald – First

From 2025, you will receive a 25% discount on the following lines:

Wengen – Kleine Scheidegg
Grindelwald – Kleine Scheidegg
Eiger Express Grindelwald Terminal – Eigergletscher
Eigergletscher – Jungfraujoch

In the combination “Berner Oberland Pass at a reduced price with the Swiss Half Fare Card” you receive a 50% discount on all these routes.
